signs he doesn't like you

  • he doesn't talk to you outside of the one class you have together.
but then, you don't really talk to him either.
  • he doesn't reply to e-mails.

but he did read it.

  • if you don't say hi, he won't say it.

but that goes with the whole matching my behavior thing.

he does say hi first in class though.

and bye first.

  • he doesn't show any signs of agreeing when you say the three people in your group, including you, should go to subway to celebrate class being over
  • sometimes, even when you do say hi, like when he's in the same room as you (not in class), he still doesn't say hi

maybe he knows that you didn't really want to say it, so he doesn't reply.

or maybe he really didn't hear you.

  • he rarely talks to you about himself.

does this mean he doesn't think you're important enough to talk to?

maybe he thinks you won't want to hear his reply because you said hi so reluctantly.

pay attention to how she gets him to talk, because most of what you know about him comes from conversations she starts. or conversations you start but she gets him to talk.

signs he likes you. or at least doesn't hate you.

  • he tries to make you laugh when you seem down
  • he figures out a way to do a problem when you asked and he didn't know
  • as soon as you come in, he asks how your race was, the one you'd been talking about the day before, as if he'd just been waiting to ask you
  • he taps your foot every few seconds, seemingly deliberately, to try to touch you, until you react
  • he doesn't move his arm when it's close to yours
  • it seems like he almost blushes when you tease him
  • he asks every monday how your weekend was
  • he somehow goes the exact opposite way as you between classes, even when you go an unusual way, maybe so he can see you
  • he offers to get you a chair, and even when you say you're okay, he still tries to get you one
  • he matches your behavior - when you're quiet, he's quiet, and when you talk a lot, he does too
  • he holds your gaze for more than a few seconds
  • he's looking at you when you're talking to another guy.
  • his ears perk up when you start to talk about a guy
  • he fills you in on what you missed when you were gone for a day before you even ask. and as soon as you come into class, he asks where you were the day before.
  • he calls another girl by your name
  • when there are other guys around, he seems nervous and says things without thinking
  • he says he likes your new hair after a haircut
  • the girl in your group says he might like you because he's really nice to you
  • like you had trouble looking at him when you were talking, he now has trouble looking at you when he talks to you.
  • when another guy bothers you, and jokes that he wants "to measure your height" because he "needs to find someone of a certain height" he tells the other guy to measure it on the wall.
